in

The BALANCED Project recently released a new report entitled, "Population, Health, Environment Situational Analysis for the Saadani National Park Area, Tanzania." This study summarizes the results of a behavioral monitoring system (BMS) conducted in Tanzania in June 2009. The study was co-sponsored by the BALANCED Project and the Sustainable Coastal Communities and Ecosystems (SUCCESS) Project. Funded by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID), these projects are implemented by the Tanzania Coastal Management Partnership (TCMP), serving as a catalyst for effective and sustainable change that both safeguards coastal resource assets and improves the quality of life for those who live and work along the coast.
