The BALANCED Project Seeks Concept Notes for Seed Grant Program to Integrate Family Planning into Conservation Inititatives

The USAID-supported BALANCED Project is seeking concept notes from organizations working in conservation, natural resource management (NRM), rural development, livelihoods (for NRM), and/or health in areas of high biodiversity that are interested in integrating family planning and reproductive health services into existing activities.

Organizations with on-going conservation and/or rural development activities in Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Tanzania, Papua New Guinea and Solomon Islands and Timor-Leste are encouraged to apply for potential seed grant funding. The funding would cover two years (from August 1, 2011 to July 30, 2013) for the approximate amount of $40,000 ($20,000 per year) inclusive of technical support and training. If you are interested in submitting a concept note for consideration, please review the attached guidelines and follow the instructions located on the RESOURCES page. We look forward to hearing from you.
